It’s been confirmed that Donegal Local Development Company will be given control of all Gaeltacht leader programmes previously run in the county by MFG.
Discussions between DLDC and the Department of the Environment are at an advanced stage, with a formal announcement of the takeover expected within the next week.
Senator Brian O’Domhnaill, who also sits on the board of Udaras na Gaeltachta has raised the issue with the minister in the Seanad, and says resolution is near, albeit after an unpardonably long delay……
