Daffodil Centre to be developed at Letterkenny General Hospital

The organisers of the Donegal Relay for Life event held in May say they hope to develop a Daffodil Centre at Letterkenny General Hospital by the autumn. The Irish Cancer Society is in advanced discussions
with hospital management, and hopes to confirm details of the support centre at the hospital within a matter of weeks.
At the weekend the Relay committee confirmed that the final official total raised was just under €347,000, and the Donegal Relay has now been confirmed as the biggest ever held in Europe. It’s also been
confirmed a Relay will take place at Letterkenny IT in May of next year.
Donegal Relay Chair Robert O’Connor is hopeful that the benefits of relay will be seen at Letterkenny General Hospital very soon……………
