Music legend Daniel O’Donnell is to receive Donegal’s highest honour today – he’s getting the freedom of the county.
He’s being honoured for his contribution to music at local, national and international level, and for being a great ambassador for the county.
The county mayor is holding a civic reception in Daniel’s honour this afternoon.
At the event he’ll be awarded a unique lapel pin.
