Murder inquiry launched into Churchill death – Gardai appeal for information

Gardai in Donegal have launched a murder inquiry following the death of a 67 year old man at Churchill on Sunday night.
Emergency services and Gardai were called to a house at Drumacnoo, Churchill at around 1.50 am where the body of Seamus Doherty was discovered.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.  A post mortem revealed he died in suspicious circumstances.
An incident room has been set up at Lettekenny Garda Station
The scene has been preserved pending a full forensic and technical examination.
