Letterkenny Ac’s Ruairi Finnegan and FinnValley’s Sarah Collins have qualified for the World Junior Championships in Barcelona next month.
In Switzerland on Saturday, Collins returned a time of 9.26.80 over 3k to hit the qualifying mark for the championships in 4 weeks time. Ruairi Finnegan became the 4th athlete from Donegal to reach Barcelona with a run of 3.46.27 in Watford, England.
The pair join Dempsey Mc Guigan and Mark English on the team which will be managed by Finn Valley coach Neil Martin.
