Councillor claims a lack of rural B&Bs is damaging tourism

It is claimed there is a shortage of Bed and Breakfasts in more rural areas of Donegal with the county council being urged to introduce measures to make easier for people to establish such a business.
According to Councillor David Alcorn the shortage is, at least in part due, to people being put off from opening up their homes due to water and business rates they would have to pay the council.
He says it is a real problem and is harming the tourism industry in rural Donegal:
