Search resumes for missing Strabane teenager

A search operation is resuming for a missing teenage boy at a disused quarry in Strabane.

It is believed he was on a makeshift raft with three other teenagers when they went into the water at the quarry on Strahans Road in the Backtown area last evening.

The other teenagers were rescued.

Police, firefighters and volunteer divers have been involved in the search for the young man, who is believed to be 17 years old.
