Soccer – FAI Senior Cup Recap

Four North West sides were involved in Fai Senior Cup action over the weekend. In the big derby game at the Brandywell on Friday, Derry City beat rivals Finn Harps 4-0.

Two Ulster Senior League sides were also in action in the competition. For the first time in the clubs history Drumkeen United were mixing with the big boys at Dalymount Park.  Drumkeen would lose out 5-0 to past cup winners Bohemians. Elsewhere at Station Road, Kildrum Tigers would also suffer defeat. The Tigers went down to Avondale United on Sunday 3-1.
