Stand off at Highland Bakery HQ ends

Highland Radio News has learned that the stand off at the Highland Bakery premises has ended.

A stand off has developed between staff and officials from the Revenue Commissioners at the Highland Bakery factory premises on the outskirts of Letterkenny.
The plant at Killyclug employs 28 full time staff, with another 15 staff working on delivery.
Owner Kevin Bradley says he wants to come to an agreement with Revenue to allow him continue in business, so far, that hasn’t happened, and the stand off continues.
Gardai were called to the scene but have since left – one member of staff told Highland Radio that they were uncertain about their future and were unsure as to how the situation will be resolved.
