The Managing Director of Largo Foods’ Donegal plant has confirmed that 60 full and part time jobs are to go.
Ray Coyle said the jobs are going in the packing department, which to be automated.
Mr Coyle concluded that if the jobs losses are not implemeted as part of a cost cutting exercise, then the Gweedore plant will close and production will move to the UK.
