Letterkenny Town Council officials have been tasked with improving safety at Ballymacool Park with one councillor concerned a child could be injured or killed if action isn’t taken.
Councillor Dessie Larkin raised the issue after reports of children chasing balls which escaped the park on to the Glenswilly Road.
He wants officials to to seek a solution to the problem.
