Minster condems poisoning of White-tailed eagle in Donegal

The Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht has condemned the apparent poisoning of a white-tailed sea eagle in Donegal.
Post mortem results from the eagle, found dead sonme weeks ago in the Blue Stack mountains, showed it had been poisoned.
The National Parks and Wildlife Service are investigating the killing.
Minister Jimmy Deenihan urged that anyone with information about the matter should contact the local Garda Siochána or the National Parks and Wildlife Service on 095-41054.
The dead bird was found by Lorcan O’Toole of the Golden Eagle Trust in Donegal, he says the vast majotrity of farmers in that area have been law abiding…………
