Nurses and midvives gather for INMO conference

Nurses and midwives from Donegal will join others from around the country  in Kerry for the INMO’s annual conference.
50 motions are up for debate amongst the delegates over three days, covering areas like the recruitment moratorium, overcrowding and cutbacks.
New figures this week have given an update on the level of absenteeism in the overall health service – which is running at up to 20 per cent in part of one facility.
General Secretary of the INMO Liam Doran says when people are sick they’re entitled to time off – but if they’re not – they’re adding to the pressure on their colleagues:
