Pringle backing Dail motion on Domicilliary Care Allowances

Parents from the Domiciliary Care Allowance Warrior Group are in the Dail today to raise the issue of allowances for the families of children with disabilities, partiuclarly those with autism..
They claim that reviews of their payments by Department of Social Protection staff are designed to cut or reduce the allowance wherever possible.
Tonight, Donegal South West Deputy Thomas Pringle and other members of the Dáil Technical Group will move a motion calling for the payments to be maintained to all those in need of them.
Deputy Pringle says this is by far the most pressing Social Welfare issue on his desk at the moment, and reflects the way in which the reviews are being handled by the department ………..
