Derry activist says rallies against RAAD will continue

Colm Bryce was speaking after the group issued a statement today admitting the shooting of a 29 year old man in St Johnston on Tuesday night and an 18 year man in Derry a week ago. The group also defended their death threat against a Derry shopowner stating that they had been 'innundated' with complaints from parents and local schools about the man's actvities.

In the statement, RAAD say they will not be deterred by protest rallies and marches. However, Colm Bryce, a member of the group "RAAD ' Not in Our Name" says they will continue............

Meanwhile, Gardai say the man shot in St Johnston is recovering in a Dublin hospital after surgery, fears that he might lose a limb have proven unfounded.
