Update : Man shot in St Johnston may lose a limb

Gardai in Letterkenny are continuing their investigation into the paramilitary shooting incident at Legnatraw, St. Johnston at quarter to eleven last night.
A 29 year old man was shot in both legs and both arms. He was brought to Letterkenny General Hospital last night, where his condition was described as stable but it’s since emerged that the man has been transferred to a Dublin hospital, where he may lose a limb.
A 34 year old woman who was in the house at the time of the shooting was uninjured.
Gardai have now confirmed a silver 4×4 vehicle was located at Moness, a townland approximately 1 mile from the scene of the shooting shortly after the incident. The 4×4 has been preserved for technical examination.
