Buncrana Town Council is to write to the Finance Minister expressing deep concern at the current price of petrol and diesel.
Sinn Fein Cllr Ciaran McLaughlin says many families and businesses in the town were struggling with the continuing rising costs, and Minister Michael Noonan must be urged to act.
A number of other Cllrs also suggested that the three Deputies in the constituency should be called upon to raise the issue in the Dail.
Cllr McLaughlin says he’s been contacted by people who are genuinely struggling…..
