HSE figures show more than 80% of patients copming to the Emergency Department at Letterkenny General Hospital are admitted or discharged within six hours, and over 90% are seen within nine hours.
Donegal North East Deputy Padraig Mac Lochlainn says this is nother reason why Letterkenny General Hospital should not face cuts of millions to its annual budget.
He says not that long ago, Letterkenny General Hospital was being praised for its efficiency, now it is being pubished.
Deputy Mac Lochlainn says current HSE and government policy is hurting the hospital, and must be reviewed……….
