A Donegal South-West Deputy has hailed the countrywide campaign against the household charge as a success.
Nationally it’s been estimated by the government that 805,000 of the 1.6 million properties in the country registered by Saturdays deadline.
While Donegal was said to have the lowest collection rate of any council in the country.
Deputy Thomas Pringle says even though the deadline has now passed, people must still stick together against the charge…..
