Gardai warn motorists to drive with care over the St Patrick’s weekend

Roads are expected to be busier then usual this evening, as thousands get away for the St. Patrick's Bank Holiday weekend.

Gardai are appealing to motorists to drive with extra care and to allow plenty of time for their journey.

Last year, six people died over the St Patrick's bank holiday period.

The head of the Garda Traffic Corps in Donegal, Inspector Michael Harrison, says there will be an increase of vehicles on the roads.......
