Deputy McHugh says all parties must work together to issue mortgage arrears

Donegal North East Deputy Joe Mc Hugh has told the Dail that a joint approach must be taken to resolving the issue of mortgage and negative equity, and all parties must work together to make it happen.
He was speaking during a Fianna Fail motion on mortgage rates and arrangements.
Deputy Mc Hugh told the Dail one constituent told him that while she and her husband were both working, they still feel under severe pressure as they are paying 40% of their income towards their mortgage.
He said the Taoiseach is heading an initiative at cabinet level to address the issue, but told Fianna Fail that they too have a role to play………..
