Soccer – Derry With Important Away Goal In Linfield Tie

It’s all square between Derry City and Linfield ahead of the second leg of their Setanta Cup Quarter Final. On Monday night at Windsor Park  David Mc Daid struck five minutes from time to force a 1-1 draw.  Linfield struck first on 13 minutes to go in front.  Having had a disappointing opening half Derryimproved after the break and pressed late with McDaid volleying in the equalizer – which could prove to be the tie winning away goal. The second leg will take place at the Brandywell on the 20th March.
Derry Manager Declan Devine gave his reaction to Oisin Langan in Belfast.
