There's been a 3% drop in the year on year Live Register figure in Donegal.
There were 21,267 people signing on the register in the county at the end of February, down 300 on the January figure and down 650 on the figure for February 2011.
There were 4,615 people on the register in the Buncrana office at the end of February, down 350 on a year ago, a fall of 7%. The biggest percentage decrease was recorded in Killybegs , with 1,145 signing on, down 183, a fall of almost 14%.
In Letterkenny, there were 5,979 people signing on at the end of last month, down 106 on the previous year, a fall of 2%.
There were more modest falls recorded in Ballyshannon with 1,571 signing on, Donegal Town with 1,418 and Dunfanaghy with 1,624 on the register.
Two local offices recorded minor increases, Dungloe with 2,226 and Ballybofey with 2,689 signing on.
