Mayor says councillor’s antics are bad for politics

The Mayor of Donegal has strongly refuted claims today that he has lost control of the council chamber.
There was a number of angry exchanges at today’s meeting at the County House in Lifford, and between 11 o clock and 1 o clock, the meeting had to be adjourned three times.
One councilor claimed he had been threatened by another in the chamber, while another councilor used bad language.
All this in front of the Youth Council who were invited by the Mayor to attend today’s meeting.
