Teachers, parents and others will march from the Gweedore Industrial Estate to Minister of State Dinny Mc Ginley's office at noon tomorrow in protest at education cuts in the budget and the impact they will have on small schools.
The event is being organised by the Craobh an Errigal branch of the INTO.
Chairperson Sean O'Domhnall says while the u-turn on Deis schools this week is welcome, it will place more pressure on capitation grants. He's also worried about the pressure that gaeltacht schools will be under to match increased pupil teacher ratios, particularly those with four or fewer teachers.
He says it's a worrying time...........
