Mc Hugh believes Irish government will honour A5 commitments

Donegal North East Deputy Joe Mc Hugh says he believes the Irish government will honour the balance of  its £450 million contribution to the upgrade of the A5.
He was speaking after the North’s Finance Minister Sammy Wilson confirmed that 330 million pounds will be spent over the next four years upgrading two stretches of the road to dual carriageway status.
The routes being done first are Derry to Strabane and Omagh to Ballygawley.
Mr Wilson says he will not be announcing any further funding for the Strabane to Omagh section, as he doesn’t wish to take pressure off the Irish government to provide the rest of the money it has promised.
Deputy Mc Hugh says it will be forthcoming……….
