Mac Lochlainn urges anyone with information on Lisfannon murder to come forward

A man in his 20s from the Waterside area of Derry has been shot and killed outside Buncrana.
The incident happened at a house at Links View in Lisfannon shortly before 9.30pm last night. It’s reported three masked men went to the house and shot through a window.
The man, named by the BBC as 24 year old Andrew Allen from Top of the Hill was pronounced dead an hour later. It’s understood Mr Allen was one of a number of men forced out of Derry late last year by the group “Republican Action Against Drugs”.
A second scene has been preserved nearby at Fahan where a car was found burned out shortly after the shooting.
Members of the Garda Technical Bureau are en route to the scene.
Last March, RAAD were behind a shooting in Muff which, they claimed, would have resulted in the death of a man had a weapon not jammed. They have also been responsible for other incidents in Donegal, including a pipe bomb attack in Manorcunningham in 2009.
Donegal North East TD Padraig Mac Lochlainn is urging anyone with information to contact police on either side of the border. He says last night’s attack was abhorrent………
