IMPACT seek HSE meeting to discuss future of health service provision in North West

The IMPACT trade union is seeking an urgent meeting with senior HSE management to discuss the future of the health service provision in the North West.
The unions regional spokesperson Richy Carrothers says the situation is worrying, particularly as the HSE’s National Service Plan was published a fortnight ago, but there’s still been no clarification on how it will be implemented across Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal.
Mr Carrothers says according to the HSE, Letterkenny General Hospital is carrying over an €8 million from last year, and it’s not clear how that will impact on services over the next 12 months………..
