NRA confirms regional road funding

Over 21 and a half million euro has been allocated to local and regional road improvements in Donegal by the National Roads Authority.
The bulk of the moey will go towards necessary improvements and restoration work agreed by the council.
Specific improvements are being funded on the the airport road between Crolly and Carrickfin, the Killybegs Industrial Road, the St. Johnston-Tullyowen Road and Mulantibolye Bridge.
The money also provides for a number of road safety projects in areas including Letterkenny, Stranorlar, Dungloe, Redcastle, Newtowncunningham and Quigleys Point Junction.
The council is still awaiting confirmation of fuinding for the National Road network in the county.
