Inishowen Tourism says there’s been a major upsurge in visitor numbers since the Northern Lights became visible in the local skies. In recent days, hundreds of people have been visiting the area in the hope of seeing the lights.
However, there are fears that people may be distracted while driving, and the AA is expressing concern that there may be collisions as a result of the extra traffic on the road.
