Divisional Commander, Chief Superintendent Andrew Bates thanked the community for its help with the inquiry.

He praised the people of Pollokshields for their assistance and support in helping officers take the investigation forward so quickly.

He added that his officers will remain in the area working with elected members and the wider local community to provide public reassurance and ongoing support.
