Killybegs Employment Project to protest at threatened CES cuts

The Killybegs Employment Project are to hold protests against proposed cuts to Community Employment Schemes.
The government announced a 66% cut in funding as part of Budget 2012.
It’s claimed that many who have participated in the Killybegs scheme in the past have went on to further education or training, or become self-employed.
But as a result of the proposed cuts, many people on the schemes would now remain on the live register.
