Local representatives take to Twitter

Some Donegal County Councillors are embracing Twitter in an other way to stay in touch with the people.
Twitter’s popularity is growing all the time in Ireland with hundreds of thousands of people exchanging news and their points of view with others.
While a number of national politicians are already Tweeting up until recently few if any local councillors had joined the social networking platform.
