Donegal suffered defeat on Sunday in their opening game of 2012 at the O’Donnell Park, losing to UUJ in the Dr.McKenna Cup. The Students from University Ulster Jordanstown took a surprise victory away from Letterkenny in the sides opening fixture of the competition, beating the Ulster Champions by 0-11 to 0-9. Antrim star CJ McGourty scored four points in the final quarter to give his college the two point win.
