Gardai are advising motorists to drive with caution this evening – as icy conditions continue to persist on many roads throughout the country.
Temperatures are set too drop below freezing here in Donegal’s tonight, mixed with wintry showers, so there will be the threat of black ice on the roads.
And Met Eireann’s warning that the cold snap is set to get worse this weekend – with overnight temperatures dipping to minus 4 degrees .
