Winds of 140 km per hour battering Donegal this afternoon

Winds in Donegal are set to reach gusts of 140 km per hour this afternoon and more sleet and snow have been forecast for the county.
Forecasters are saying that today we will see the worst of the weather, and although winds are expected to calm, the wintry showers will remain over the coming days.
Meteorologist with Met Eireann, John Eagleton, says Donegal has seen the worst of the weather.
But he says any snow that falls, will melt during the day………
