Large turnout for protest against cuts to community employment schemes

There was a large turnout at protest meeting in Jacksons Hotel, Ballybofey this morning.
The protest, organised by SIPTU, was held in response against the proposed budget cuts to Community Employment Schemes.
The meeting was supported by a range of organisations including INOU, ICTU Community Committee, Congress Centre Network and Mental Health Ireland.
SIPTU spokesperson Martin O Rourke says the protests will now be taken to outside the constituency offices of Fine Gael Deputies Dinny Mc Ginely and Joe McHugh, and Labour Senator Jimmy Harte on Friday……
