Police arrest man in Derry shooting investigation

Detectives in Derry have arrested a 32 year old man on suspicion of causing grevious bodily harm with intent and possession of a firearm with criminal intent.
The arrest follows a shooting incident in the Creggan Road area on Sunday night last in which a 22 year old man sustained a number of gunshot wounds to both ankles.
The arrested man is currently in custody, police say he is helping them with their enquiries.
