Scottish airline Loganair is now operating twice daily flights to Donegal.
The new contract is for a three year period –  renewal of  the contract  in 2014 will depend on how extensively the service is used and the state of  the public finances.
The new Donegal-Dublin services will leave Donegal at 07:55 and 17:00 each day for the 55-minute flight to Dublin.
Return flights will leave Dublin Terminal 1 at 09:25 and 18:30.
