A Donegal TD has called on the authorities to launch a campign warning foreign nationals of the dangers of the sea.
Deputy Thomas Pringle was speaking following the death of a Polish man in Bundoran at the weekend – the man was swept out to sea while fishing and drowned.
He says foreign nationals seem to make up a disproportinate amount of those who die while sea fishing off Ireland’s and that is something that needs to be addressed:
