Government could face EU action for failure to implement Missing Children hotline

It’s emerged that the Irish government may face EU court action for failing to implement the 11 6000 Missing Children’s Hotline in line with commitments to do so by May.
North West MEP Jim Higgins says there is an obligation to put the hotline in place, and not doing so leaves Ireland open to rulings and fines from the European Court of Justice.
He says the delay has been partially caused by the failure of the government to identify which minister is responsible. He says this must be resolved as soon as possible………..
