The Derry Regeneration Company ILEX says it will open the Parade Grounds at Ebrington in December, creating the biggest open public space in the city.
As part of the opening ceremony, they want to place a time capsule in the grounds, reflecting the life, culture and community of the city in 2011, as well as reflecting on Derry’s history.
ILEX Spokesperson Mo Durkan is urging people to become involved in donating items and making suggestions as to what should go into the capsule:
