HSE putting more counselling resources in place ahead of Raphoe audit publication

After the Bishop of Raphoe denied today that a new audit will show hundreds of children were abused in the diocese over a 40 year period, the HSE’s National Counseling Service is putting plans in place to deal with any additional calls ahead of the publication of the report.
Speaking on today’s Shaun Doherty Show, the service’s North West Director Tom McGrath confirmed plans are being put in place to meet the public’s needs ahead of its publication this month.
He’s not commenting on the claims that the number of victims may be in the hundreds, but says there is no doubt that their services will be in higher demand once the audit is published………………..
