Investigation after taser is used by police in Derry

The Northern Ireland Police Ombudsman is investigating the use of a taser against an 18 year old man in Derry at the weekend.
Police were responding to a call in the Westland Street area when the taser was used.
Police say an officer discharged the taser while attending an incident, and an 18 year old man was later arrested on suspicion of three counts of possesion of an offensive weapon.
