Tyrone's All-Ireland prospects have been dealt a blow with the news that Owen Mulligan has quit the panel. The 30-year-old forward, who is the holder of three All-Ireland medals, failed to appear for training on Tuesday night and was absent again last night as Tyrone continued their preparations for next weekend's All-Ireland football qualifier third round clash against either Wicklow or Armagh. Mulligan is believed to be disillusioned at the lack of game time he has got in this year's championship. He did start the Ulster semi-final defeat to Donegal, but was left on the bench for the wins over Monaghan and Longford.
