Mc Conalogue says post – Cloyne legislation must be backed up with resources

Fianna Fail's Children's Spokesperson says he and his party will support the government in bringing in new legislation in light of the findings of the Cloyne Report.

However, Donegal North East Deputy Charlie Mc Conalogue new legislation to introduce mandatory reporting and other measures will only work if proper resources are put in place........

Meanwhile,  Fiannà Fail leader Michael Martin says it's very difficult to trust the Catholic Church at the moment. Speaking on the Sean Doherty Show today, he said the Vatican has been putting it's own interests before those of children, and that's unacceptable............
