Sean Gallagher formally enters Presidential race

Sean Gallagher says he'll engage in a 'listening exercise' with the people of Ireland.

The Independent nominee for the role of President last night exceeded the quota needed to formally enter the race, when he succeeded in winning Leitrim County Council's support.

Mr. Gallagher has previously won the support of Longford,
Clare, Roscommon and Donegal County Councils - he needed four County Councils to proceed in the race.
