Soccer – Hutton says another harsh lesson learned for Harps

Finn Harps suffered their tenth defeat of the season on Saturday night in Ballybofey going down 2-0 to Cork City. Both goals came in the second half from a Shane Duggan brace.  The win which moved Cork City back into joint-second in the First Division table also brought an end to Finn Harps’ two-game winning streak . The Donegal oufit remain third from bottom but with Athlone winning on Friday night the gap now to the midlanders is out to seven points. Aaron McElwee and Paddy McLaughlin both returned to the Harps line-up, having missed out on last week’s game due to suspension, while Ciaran Coll got the nod ahead of Gareth Harkin to start at left-back.
After the game Finn Harps manager Peter Hutton spoke with Diarmaid Doherty.
