Deputy McConalogue calls on Government to change adoption laws

The Government should run a referendum alongside the Presidential election that would change the laws in relation to adoption in Ireland.
Currently there is no provision in the Irish constitution for adoption, making it difficult for Irish children to be fostered.
Fianna Fail is to bring forward a Private Members Bill in the Dail this evening.
