Former army bases in Lifford and Rockhill to be passed over to Council

It’s been confirmed that Donegal County Council will be in possesion of the former army bases in Lifford and Rockhill within six to eight weeks.
Agreement in principle has been reached on the handovers, and the final details are now being ironed out.
County Manager Seamus Neely says he will be referring back to councillors and other interested parties before deciding what use the buildings should be put to.
